Read OT Studios’ FAQs Based on Diagnosis & Treatment

We are adhering to strict CDC guidelines and maintaining extra sanitary precautions. We have reduced our caseloads dramatically, so there is only one child and one therapist in the clinic per session. We do not allow extra guests or family in the clinic, only one guardian or parent is allowed at a time.

If your child has never had an OT evaluation, we start with that. Standardized evaluations allow our therapists to create a specific treatment plan and therapy goals. Once the evaluation is completed (usually takes around two weeks), we will email you the OT report with our recommendations. If you approve OT sessions, we will schedule a weekly appointment for ongoing therapy.

If your child has had an OT evaluation in the past year, we can use that to create our treatment goals and move straight into scheduling weekly or bi-weekly OT sessions.

We usually see clients once or twice a week

Our evaluations and sessions are 50-60 minutes long.

It truly depends on the OT concerns. We have clients who have been with us for three years and some for six months.

We are currently only in the network with Blue Shield. We are contracted with Frank Lanterman and West Side regional centers, as well as STS NPA for school-based services.

If we are not in-network with your insurance, we provide you with a super bill that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

We can provide in-home and in-school sessions, provided the OT concerns do not require clinic-based equipment. Usually, the clinic is the best place to provide therapy because of all of the sensory equipment available, but we are happy to accommodate in-home or in-school sessions if needed.

We are open Monday-Friday from 9 am-6 pm. Our first appointment of the day is at 9 am and our last is at 5 pm.
