Meet Michael Vayntrub, OTD

Dr. Michael Vayntrub MA, OTR/L was born and raised right here in West Hollywood, not too far from the clinic. He graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and then completed his graduate education at the Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at USC, earning his MA in OT. As a pediatric OT, Michael has experience working with a variety of pediatric age groups, from toddlers to emerging adults and everything in between. He has received his SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) certification and often incorporates social-emotional learning in his therapy sessions, when appropriate. Michael emphasizes the importance of teamwork with the families he works with in order to provide the highest level of holistic care possible.

Outside of the clinic, Michael enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and his labradoodle, Charlie. He speaks Russian fluently and is learning to read and write in Cyrillic along with his nephews, whose ages range from 3 to 9. Michael’s interests include cooking, live music, and anything Marvel-related.
